His cause is just

Here we have the second in our (short) series of 'make fun of PETA' comics. I think that their cause is just too, sometimes, but not nearly as often as it is ridiculous. But that's just my opinion.

We'll probably see another one crop up in March.

You can sell some people anything

I have found that not having a TV saves me a good deal of time in dealing with telemarketers, since about 50% of them seem to be selling either DirecTV or cable something or other. I remember one such conversation especially:

Me: "Hello?"
TM: "Hello, I'm calling from [some tv service] and I'd like to offer you-"
Me: "We don't have a TV."
[pause]
TM: "When do you plan on purchasing a television?"
Me: "Probably never."
[pause]
TM: "Okay, we'll call you back at that time."

Come to think of it, that was the last time I answered a TM call. Hmm...

It's not a compliment

There are many page-a-day calendars out there that I have enjoyed. Last year's was mensa brain teaser type things. This year's is a page-a-day paper airplane calendar where each page tears off and you follow the printed instructions and fold it into a little paper airplane. Great for work.

The best PADC I have seen - though I did not have the foresight to buy it, and have not been able to find it since - had something to do with making fun of the French. At least, that is what I recall. I may have been hallucinating at the time.

For those of you who are actually fans of the big H., you can get the perfect gift for yourself here.

On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me

Continuing on with the interrupted 12 Days of Christmas. The first thing that popped to mind when I thought of Lords A-Leaping was a (purposefully) bad spoof of Lord of the Dance done by Mystery Science Theater 3000: "And we all know that Mike Nelson is: Lord of the Dance", insert tap-dance sound effect, show Mike 'tap dancing' behind the set piece.

So here we have a Lemming tribute to the largest ego on the planet*: Michael Flatly

*Flatly's ego is followed closely by that of Chloe Bruce

On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me

Sorry this is so late. Just realized I never actually posted if after putting it together this morning.

A better price is not always a better deal

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
You're slowly turning brown.
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
Your needles fall on the ground.

You used to stand so proud and tall,
But now you're propped against the wall;
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
You're slowly turning brown.

Maybe it's a regional thing?

You have probably noticed that I haven't posted the last couple of days. I've been having technical difficulties, one of which involves not enough sleep.

Bluff!

Yay, we're back up in time for a Friday comic! Have a good weekend, you'll see me next week.

Oh, and by the way,
Congratulations, Laurel!

They're biting!

Apologies for the lateness of the comic. For some reason, our internet content filter at work (where I post them) decided that Blogger beta should be filtered under the Sex category. Go figure. Until the problem gets resolved, look for the comics in the evenings.
